Shipping Information and Rates ...

Shipping to a United States Address:

If you are ordering stamps only (not supplies), any of the shipping methods listed in the chart below may be selected by you during the checkout process. If ordering supplies, you will be presented with fewer options; bulky items can not be shipped by Economy First Class and, if the weight exceeds 13 oz, they can not be shipped as a First Class Parcel. Please see the footnotes under the chart for explanations of these mail classes.

US Shipping Rates

1. Economy First Class is the USPS First Class large envelopes (flats) rate or First Class letter rate. Your stamps will be shipped in a 6" x 9" or larger envelope. A hard-board stiffener will be included and your stamps will be safely positioned and protected within the mailer to avoid damage during transit. Postage will be paid with stamps.
2. First Class Parcel rate. Your stamps will be shipped within a hard-board mailer. The USPS First Class postage rate for hard-board mailers is the same as that for parcels/packages. This class of mail is trackable; postage is paid with a meter label that includes the tracking barcode.
3. Priority Mail Flat Rate. Your stamps will be shipped within a Flat Rate Priority Mail envelope with stiffeners. Under normal conditions, Priority Mail packages are delivered in 2-3 days (typically 3-6 days for First Class mail; sometimes longer). This mail service provides tracking; postage is paid with a meter label that includes the tracking barcode.
4. Priority Mail. Unlike Flat Rate Priority Mail, the cost of this service is weight- and distance-based. The price for packages weighing up to one pound is listed in the chart above (5: cost varies by distance from Colorado). This service is typically reserved for the shipment of bulky/heavy supplies. If the weight is greater than one pound, the price will be higher than listed in the chart (this price will be listed in your shopping cart). If we are able to ship your order at a lower cost using a Flat Rate Priority Mail box, we will do so and will reduce your shipping charge to the actual postage cost (we will reduce the charge to your credit card, or reimburse your PayPal account). This mail service provides tracking; postage is paid with a meter label that includes the tracking barcode.

Shipping to an International Address (Non-U.S.):

If you are ordering stamps only (not supplies), any of the shipping methods shown in the chart below, except First Class Letter (see bold text below), may be selected by you during the checkout process. If ordering supplies, you will be presented with fewer options; bulky items can not be shipped by Economy First Class and, if the weight exceeds 4 pounds, they can not be shipped as a First Class Parcel. If you choose Economy First Class, and your stamps can be safely shipped within a 6" x 9" envelope that is less that 1/4" thick, we will manually reduce your shipping charge to the First Class Letter rate shown in blue type in the chart (our shopping cart is unable to determine this; we will instead reduce the charge to your credit card or reimburse your PayPal account). An important consideration is that Economy First Class shipments will typically not go through Customs, whereas Standard First Class and Priority Mail shipments require a Customs Declaration Form and will go through Customs in your country (Western Stamp Company is not responsible for customs fees, duty fees, or value-added taxes that may be assessed by your country).

International Shipping Rates

2. First Class Letter rate Please see explanation in the paragraph above the chart.
3. First Class Parcel rate. Your stamps will be shipped within a hard-board mailer. The USPS First Class postage rate for hard-board mailers is the same as that for parcels/packages. A Customs Declaration Form is required and postage is paid with a meter label.
4. Registered First Class. The First Class Parcel rate with added Registered Mail service. Provides a high level of security while in transit in the U.S.; (7) this added security, and tracking, is maintained by some but not all destination countries. A Customs Declaration form is required.
5. Priority Mail Flat Rate. Your stamps will be shipped within a Flat Rate Priority Mail envelope with stiffeners. Under normal conditions, international Priority Mail packages are typically delivered within 6-10 days, but the time in transit is heavily dependent on your country's postal service and customs office. A Customs Declaration Form is required and postage is paid with a meter label.
6. Priority Mail. Unlike Flat Rate Priority Mail, the cost of this service is weight- and distance-based. The price for packages weighing up to one pound is listed in the chart above. This service is typically reserved for the shipment of bulky/heavy supplies or when package tracking is desired. If the weight is greater than one pound, the price will be higher than listed in the chart (this price will be listed in your shopping cart). If we are able to ship your order at a lower cost using a Flat Rate Priority Mail box, we will do so, with your permission (may lose ability to track package), and will reduce your shipping charge to the actual postage cost (we will reduce the charge to your credit card, or reimburse your PayPal account). This mail service provides tracking; a Customs Declaration Form is required and postage is paid with a meter label that includes the tracking barcode.
